Matt applied to the DRF because he has been picked as a member off the provisional squad for the England Deaf Football Team to play at European Deaf Football Champs In June this year, which is in Crete.
He also plays football for Fulham Deaf football team, and won their award for Most Improved Player in 2018.
Upon receiving this award, Matt said “I have just got back home from a long England Training weekend in Blackpool. I would like to say a massive thank you for this opportunity, it’s a massive step forward to achieving my dream!”
