Scholarship News – Sarah

Sarah has been in touch to let the DRF know about her and her band’s trip to the Bremen Tattoo (a marching band show) in Germany.

“There was one piece opening just played by the three piccolos and a drum. In the finale all the bands played a few songs together, and there were 900 people in total!  It was very loud. There where seven bands of bagpipes that got together to perform. Bands came from all over Europe and even a high school band from Mexico.  It was an amazing experience.”

The pictures show the band wearing red tunics and The Brentwood Imperial Youth Band were on the right hand side.
