I have been playing the piano for two years and began composing in Year 10. I was inspired to start composing after seeing how other artists create many different types of music, each capable of conveying powerful emotions—sometimes emotions that words simply cannot express.

This year, my goals are to complete Grade 4 Piano and to finish a composition of two minutes or longer by developing the short musical ideas I have created. I plan to apply the knowledge and skills I have gained through both my private piano lessons and the music curriculum at school to achieve this.

Music allows me to enter a different world; it gives me passion, focus, and perseverance. It challenges me creatively while also providing a meaningful way to express myself.

Receiving this award is incredibly meaningful to me, as it will allow me to continue my piano studies, strengthen my skills, and remain committed to my musical growth. I am truly grateful for this opportunity and for the Foundation’s support.
