Ariana’s had an incredible couple of months!
She’s been working hard across both of her passions — music and cricket — and has shared a fantastic update with the DRF.
Music tour to Italy
Ariana was thrilled to take part in a four-day music tour of Tuscany with her school, performing to large audiences at two incredible outdoor venues — the Loggia in Florence and Scarperia’s town square.
She had the fantastic opportunity to lead the orchestra on violin and play principal trumpet in the concert band. Alongside the performances, there was time to explore Tuscany, with visits to Pisa, Lucca, Florence and Montecatini Alto — a beautiful medieval hilltop village reached by funicular railway, with spectacular views across the region.
Ariana loved exploring the architecture, as well as sampling plenty of pizza and gelato!
Cricket
It’s been another fantastic summer of cricket, with Ariana scoring an impressive 700 runs with her new Warsop bat, including five 50s!
Her hard work was also recognised at the Essex end-of-season awards, where she was awarded U16 Squad Players’ Player.
