Inspirational Award News – Ollie

The DRF has received news of Ollie’s latest achievements.
He wrote ” I came back from Melbourne last week. where I played in the PWII event in mens singles and doubles. Unfortunately the singles draw wasn’t great for me, all the Brits were in the same half of the draw and I lost my first match to a fellow Brit and former world no 1. However I won both my other two matches and came 5th overall in singles.
In the doubles, we played three matches in a round robin, won two (one was a very close match) and received the runners up trophy. This was better than I had expected as we were the 4th seed in doubles.
