ANNOUNCEMENT – 2020 Scholarship and Inspirational Award Honours

As is traditional on David’s birthday, the Trustees wish to annouce who they are awarding a Scholarship and Inspirational Award to this year.

Firstly Joe Lane, Triathlete, is awarded a Scholarship to support him in his quest to qualify for both the Biathle European Championships in Spain and the World Championships in Germany later this year.

And Lewis Woods, Go-Karter, is given an Inspirational Award to enable him to continue taking his career to a new level, racing against older and more experienced drivers on larger grids.  His aim to finish the 2020 season in the top ten.

The DRF wish both of them all the best for this year and shall be following their progress with keen interest.
