Good Days

Throughout David’s illness his family and friends made sure he had regular enjoyable outings to look forward to.  The David Randall Foundation aims to afford the same opportunity to people who are not in the position to provide these outings for themselves.

Applicants should:

Successful applicants will be offered vouchers/tickets for a range of outings and, as far as possible, the DRF will try to provide vouchers for any outings in which the applicant would like to participate.  We aim to give applicants a number of regular days out, rather than one off very high value experiences, but please do let us know what you have in mind, and we will try our best to use our contacts and resources to facilitate your Good Days.

Please have a look at the Good Days section of the website to get an idea of the kind of things that we have provided for our applicants so far.

Applications for vouchers will be accepted on an official David Randall Foundation application form only. The form can be downloaded here.

Scholarships and Inspirational Awards

David was a talented musician, sportsman and coach, but it was his dedication and application to all his interests that impressed and inspired his many friends and family.

Financial Support from the Foundation will be offered to those who demonstrate exceptional dedication and passion in pursuing their ambitions in music or sport but are held back by financial means.

HOW TO APPLY FOR A SCHOLARSHIP OR INSPIRATIONAL AWARD

If your application is successful you will be asked to provide invoices for the items you applied for and these will be paid directly by the foundation.

Applicants should be aware that except in very exceptional circumstances no cash awards will be made.
